Metro
The House of the Temple is a 10-15 min. walk from two Metro stations: Dupont Circle (Red line) and U Street/African-Amer. Civil War Memorial/Cardozo (Yellow & Green lines).
From Dupont Circle:
Take the “Q Street North” exit. At the top of the escalator, turn right onto Q Street and proceed about 3 blocks. At New Hampshire Ave, turn left and proceed about 2 blocks. At R Street, turn right and walk two blocks. At 16th Street, turn left. The House of the Temple will be on the right side about 1/2 block up 16th Street.
From U St./African-Amer. Civil War Memorial/Cardozo:
Take the “13th Street” exit. At street level, turn left on U Street and walk one block to 14th Street. Turn left on 14th Street and proceed about 2 blocks to S Street. Turn right and proceed two blocks to 16th and turn left. The Temple entrance will be on your left.

From Points Northeast:
Follow I-95 S toward Washington. Take Exit 22B: Baltimore-Washington Parkway (MD-295) toward Washington. Merge onto US-50 W/New York Ave. NE toward Washington. Turn RIGHT onto Florida Ave. NE. Turn SLIGHT LEFT onto R St. NW. Turn RIGHT onto 16th St. NW. The House of the Temple will be on your right.
From Points Northwest:
Follow I-270 S toward Washington. Take I-270 Spur toward I-495 S/Northern Virginia. Take Exit 43: George Washington Memorial Parkway S. Take the US-29 N exit toward Key Bridge/Washington. Merge onto US-29 N Whitehurst Freeway. At traffic light, go straight to stay on K St. NW. Turn LEFT on 15th St. NW. Turn LEFT on R St. NW. Turn RIGHT on 16th St. NW. The House of the Temple will be on your right.
From Points West:
Follow I-66 E toward Washington. Take Exit 64B, I-495 N toward Baltimore. Take Exit 43 George Washington Memorial Parkway S. Take the US-29 N exit toward Key Bridge/Washington. Merge onto US-29 N Whitehurst Freeway. At traffic light, go straight to stay on K St. NW. Turn LEFT on 15th St. NW. Turn LEFT on R St. NW. Turn RIGHT on 16th St. NW. From Points South:
Follow I-95 N toward Washington. Merge onto I-395 N via Exit 170A toward Washington. Merge onto US-1 N via the exit on the left. Stay straight to go onto 14th St. NW. Turn LEFT on R St. NW. Turn RIGHT on 16th St. NW. The House of the Temple will be on your right.
